I used to think social media was the ultimate money-making machine. I posted every day, did all the trending dances (okay, not really), and thought I’d be swimming in sales. But when I looked closely, something was missing. Sure, I had followers, but they weren’t buying anything.
Then, I switched gears. I started focusing on email marketing, and that’s when things changed. Why? Because with email, people actually signed up to hear from you—they’re already interested. With social media, you’re competing for attention in a noisy world. But with email, you can speak directly to your audience, creating personalized offers that hit their inbox at just the right time.
Emails were landing in their inboxes, and they were clicking, buying, and subscribing. I realized: Email marketing has a much higher return on investment. People tend to buy from emails because they trust you, and you’ve built a relationship. So, while social media is fun for engagement, email marketing is the real money-maker.
